Produced by Altadis U.S.A., H. Upmann Nicaragua AJ Fernandez Heritage Robusto cigars are the latest release from one of the most notable master blenders in the premium cigar industry today. No strangers to each other, Fernandez and Altadis have teamed up to create modern new expressions of flavor on other several Cuban heritage brands that includes Romeo y Julieta, Montecristo, and the H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez that was released back in 2017. The cigars are expertly rolled in a popular 7 x 54 size using the finest fully aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and long filler tobacco all grown on AJ’s farms in Nicaragua, covered by a gorgeous Brazilian wrapper leaf that has been triple fermented for added smoothness. The result is a medium-to-full bodied smoke with rich complex tasting notes of earth, oak, leather, and coffee, all backed by a nice spicy kick on the back end.
