The Las Calaveras EL 2024 is a timeless composition of 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos, all grown on the farms of the Garcia family, completed by a gorgeous Habano (Ecuador) cover leaf. The medium-to-full bodied flavor profile is highlighted by notes of wood, sweet fruit, and baking spices, with a distinct red pepper note discovered on the retrohale. In an interesting packaging flourish, the bands and labels are adorned with a color known as 'Mexican Pink." The hot pink color is often seen in Mexican culture,
and its popularity has been credited to the painter and fashion designer, Ramón Valdiosera, going back to the 1940's.
